Johan Pehrson has been elected party leader for the Liberals at the party’s extra national meeting.
– Thank you for your heroic efforts, said Johan Pehrson after being unanimously elected to resounding applause.
In April, Johan Pehrson, who was then deputy party leader, had to take over at the top of the party when the then party leader Nyamko Sabuni quickly resigned. He has been acting party leader since then.
Now he is elected, without opposing candidates, for the period until the next national meeting, which will take place sometime in 2023.
