It was the year 2016 as the artist, television profile and entrepreneur Måns Zelmerlöw met the British actor Ciara Johnson. They got married in Croatia in 2019, and have lived in England in recent years. Since a previous relationship, Ciara has the son Archie.
During their years together, Måns and Ciara have had sons Albert, who were born in 2018, and Ossian which came in 2022.
Before Måns and Ciara became a couple, Måns had several high-profile relationships in Sweden. Among other things, he was together with the artist Marie Serneholtand later with the lawyer Azra Osmancevic.
When Måns visited Jenny and Niklas Strömstedts relationship program Together with Strömstedts, Måns talked about how he had been unfaithful in his previous relationships – and why he had been unfaithful.
– It was probably a combination of you having a need for confirmation that wanted to be satisfied, plus the fact that you were perhaps not satisfied or happy in your relationship. In combination with the fact that there was an extreme amount of partying in those periods. Because that’s the way it is, if you’re on tour and have a gig, there’ll be a bit of a party afterwards, said Måns in Together with Strömstedts then.

Those who follow Måns on Instagram may have noticed that Ciara has not been seen for several months. In Mån’s feed on Instagram, she was last seen on January 8, 2024, when the family was on a car vacation.
Since then, Ciara has had birthdays – on April 27, she turned 37, and when her son Albert’s birthday was on May 26, Ciara was not in a single picture, nor was she tagged anywhere in the post.
Ciara also posted a post to celebrate her son – but Måns was not mentioned, tagged or pictured anywhere.
The fact that Måns did not write anything about Ciara during Mother’s Day, which took place in Sweden on May 26, is perhaps not so strange, as the British celebrate Mother’s Day on a different date. Last year, Måns paid attention to his wife Ciara with a post on Mother’s Day on March 19, 2023.
“Happy Mother’s Day to the most amazing person I know. The most caring, funny, spontaneous and beautiful wife and mother. Wish I could be there to celebrate you Ciara. We love you so much,” Måns wrote on Instagram at the time.
When it was Mother’s Day in England this year, on March 10, Måns wrote a post about Eurovision where he ended by writing that he was going home to “the best family in the world”:

We don’t know what happened between the couple – but now we can News24 reveal that Ciara chose to unfollow Måns on Instagram. Ciara follows over 2,300 accounts on Instagram, but her husband Måns is now not one of them.
