Jesse Joensuu has played 129 NHL matches, 349 KHL matches and also has experience in the main leagues in Switzerland and Sweden.

The Aries of Pori has signed a two-year contract with the striker Jesse Joensuu with.

Joensuu was last seen in the Aces shirt as a lockout player in the 2012–2013 season. At that time Joensuu played 24 matches at 11 + 14 = 25.

Joensuu has been playing in the Jokers’ shirt for the last six years.
