Irma Lehtosalo, 68, has gone straight into the hearts of the Swedish people. Together with the son Markolio so she enchanted the viewers who sat in front of their reality series Marko & Irma on TV4. There we got to follow mother and son who built a house for Irma.

On Instagram, Irma has been very successful, and at the time of writing she has over 300,000 followers. That’s almost as many followers as Antonija Mandir have, and significantly more than, for example Lovisa Worge.
Irma is also active on TikTok, where she also has almost 300,000 followers. Irma’s incredible progress on social media was recently noticed by the Media Academy, which wrote in March that she has already secured a place on the Maktbarometern, the list where Sweden’s most powerful people on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok are listed.

Then the new season of Marko & Irma premieres on TV4
In mid-May, Markoolio and Irma announced the happy news – the hit show Marko & Irma is coming back for a new season.
– We don’t know 100 percent what to come up with, we have a few ideas. But we are going to do some strange and good things, said Markoolio in Nyhetsmorgon then.
The new season premieres in the spring of 2024, writes TV4.
Irma beamed on the red carpet
With the newfound celebrity comes some fun benefits – something that Irma became aware of when an invitation to a film premiere dropped in the mailbox. On Monday, the new Disney film The Little Mermaid was shown at the cinema Rigoletto in Stockholm.

Delicious pick-me-up food was laid out, and the bubbly seemed to be flowing. In place were celebrities such as Camilla Läckberg, Simon Sköld, Zara Larsson and Richard Sjöberg – and of course also Irma.

For the evening in honor, she had chosen black trousers, sneakers and a spring patterned blouse that went in blue and white.
It was Irma’s first time on the red carpet – which, if we’re being picky – was actually blue.

The newspaper Hänt was there and asked Irma how it felt to walk the red carpet for the first time.
– Very exciting but it’s a little nervous, Irma added Happened.
Also Irma’s grandchildren Moa, Milker and Mike was there and posed for a nice photo together with grandma.
