(Finance) – Iren is looking for eight profiles with specific skills to be included in Renewables Team and, to this end, he throws a contest aimed at students and undergraduates of the Polytechnic of Turin: “Iren Renewables Contest @PoliTO”. The call, which will remain open until April 29, aims to involve young engineers and challenge them to propose innovative projects and solutions on renewable energy, with the ultimate goal of discover new talents to be included in the Group.
The initiative, carried out in collaboration with the Career Service of the Turin university, is part of the actions that Iren is taking to implement the Business Plan to 2030which focuses on the energy transition and renewable energies, with the aim of achieving i 2.2 GW of new installed renewable capacity and a significant hiring planwith 7,000 new entrants to the Group expected over the course of the plan, of which over 800 in 2022.
In May the challenge will come to life and the students admitted to the contest will be divided into multidisciplinary groups and will discover the project idea on which they will have to work. On May 31, during the final day, the winning team will be selected.
