The police are now searching with several patrols for a 25-year-old man who is suspected of having injured a woman at a hotel in Gothenburg.
– I can confirm that we have an effort during the morning after an incident. It already started at 06:00 this morning, says police spokesperson Caroline Karlsson.
The man, who is a Dutch citizen, is suspected of having unprovokedly attacked the woman with a sharp object. Her injuries are unclear, but are said not to be life-threatening.
– There are currently no arrests, says Caroline Karlsson.
The police state that the man may be armed with a sharp object.
