Speaking at the ceremony held for the participation of new members to the party within the scope of his Diyarbakir visit, CHP Chairman Kılıçdaroğlu stated that he was aware that the CHP did not have many votes in that region, and said, “It is not the people of Diyarbakır, it is our fault.”
CHP Leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu carried out the Diyarbakır program, which was repeatedly planned and canceled. Kılıçdaroğlu, who came to the city last night, was welcomed at the airport by the party members. Kılıçdaroğlu went to the Sezai Karakoç Cultural Center after visiting the tradesmen in Sur district together with the party members and presented a badge to the party members at the member participation ceremony.
Speaking at the congress center, Kılıçdaroğlu said that he was extremely happy to be in Diyarbakır and to be with the people of Diyarbakır. Kılıçdaroğlu said, “I know the troubles you are experiencing,” and stated that they are experiencing great troubles and that they are aware of it.

CHP Leader Kılıçdaroğlu, who stated that he will definitely bring peace, peace and brotherhood to this country, no matter the price, continued his words as follows:

I am aware that the CHP does not have many votes in the region. I am also aware of that. But it is not the people of Diyarbakır, it is our fault. We did not come, we did not sit down, We didn’t talk. We couldn’t drink your tea or coffee. We didn’t sit at your table. We sat in Ankara. We had nice words. Why don’t they vote for us. I’m here, I want your troubles. I will solve your problems.”
