VVD member Bos became an alderman in the municipality of West Maas en Waal in 2014, and has been part of the Houten municipal council since May 2020. During this period he is responsible for, among other things, finances, work and income, and asylum and integration. After ten years as a councilor and now with a family with growing children, the need for new challenges grew.
