After four weeks, the researchers compared the participants’ bicep strength and found that those who performed the exercise only two days a week saw no significant changes. Those who exercised their biceps three days a week saw small but significant increases in their concentric strength (2.5 percent, which is when the muscle contracts and shortens when it produces a movement) and eccentric strength (3.9 percent).

“Now we have a clearer idea of ​​the tipping point where you start to see significant benefits from such minimal exercise.
