Here, the relatives of the hostages storm the parliament

Relatives of Israelis held hostage by Hamas expressed their displeasure with their government. Films show how they storm the Knesset.
– You cannot sit here while our children die, several are heard shouting.

Family members of the hostages broke into and stormed a meeting of the Knesset Finance Committee, Israeli media reports.

In videos shared on social media and by Haaretz reporter Noa Shpigel, several people can be seen holding up signs and shouting.

– No more committee meetings, no more Knesset, there is only one issue that you have to deal with now. You can’t sit here while our children die, shouted some of the people who entered.

The discontent is about the fact that many relatives believe that the government is not doing enough to free their loved ones who are being held hostage by Hamas.

Moshe Gafni, the committee’s chairman, said he understood the pain of the family members as he tried to reassure them.

The meeting could resume after a quarter of an hour.

According to Israel’s assessment, 132 people are being held hostage after the Hamas attack on October 7.
