USA University of Michigan consumer confidence declines in April

(Finance) – The index that measures the US consumer confidence, according to the latest survey conducted by the University of Michigan, which published the definitive estimate. In the month of April 2024, the consumer sentiment index stood at 77.2 points from 77.9 in the preliminary reading and against 79.4 in March.

The component relating to also has been revised downwards expectationswhich is positioned at 76 points from 77.4 and against the expected 77, while that on current condition it was revised to 79 points from the preliminary score of 79.3 points and compared to 82.5 in March.
