Here, Joe Biden is floundering on stage in Wisconsin – mocked at X

It’s hard to even quote the clip circulating from President Joe Biden’s speech, although one can understand the reasoning when watching a longer sequence.

During a visit to a brewery in Wisconsin, he was to present major investments in infrastructure. The economy is the election issue that Donald Trump likes to use against Biden – and the swagger on stage has given an open target for those who like to paint the current president as old and gagged.

“Sharper than ever”

– That man can’t put two sentences together, he can’t find the stairs from a stage, says Donald Trump during an appearance.

Even on social media, the acidic comments flow.

“Don’t worry… the media has assured us he’s sharper than ever” and “It sounds like Biden is speaking another language” are some of the posts that abound on X.

It is not the first time that Joe Biden’s condition has been discussed. He has previously fallen on several occasions and just over a year ago the president’s speech attracted attention when he asked for a dead colleague from the stage. However, the White House press secretary said it was an attempt on Biden’s part to pay tribute to the person.

Trump’s confusion

Trump also caused confusion earlier this week. In his campaign speech in New Hampshire, he criticized his opponent Nikki Haley for bearing responsibility for the storming of the Capitol – something he himself has been accused of.

According to several American media, he is also said to have confused Hailey with his former political arch-enemy, then-Speaker Nancy Pelosi. The Speaker is also not responsible for Capitol security.

“What I worry about, and I don’t want to say this condescendingly, is that when it comes to the pressures of the presidency, we can’t have someone whose mental fitness can be questioned,” Nikki Haley told the media after the speech.

Nor was President Biden averse to sending a boot back to Donald Trump.

– Have you noticed that he is a little confused these days, says Joe Biden.
