It is the company LELO that for the fourth year in a row has released the Onanirapporten survey, where Swedes have had to answer questions about sex, relationships, dating and masturbation.
The first part of the report covers the masturbation habits of Swedes – how often and where they masturbate, and how it differs between the sexes.
New survey – how Swedes will spend their money in 2024
Something that comes as a shock to many is how common it is for Swedes to masturbate at work. This as the report tells us that every fourth man has done it in the work toilet at some point.

In total, 60 percent of men and 23 percent of women masturbate every week. Despite the fact that men
satisfy themselves more often, significantly more women use sex toys during intercourse. Every third
woman has masturbated with a sex toy, compared to twelve percent of men.

So, what makes the boat float or the bell ring a little extra for our pilsner folk?
At the top we see, among other things, porn, erotic short stories and fantasizing about one’s partner. But to fantasize about, for example, Brad Pitt or Chris Hemsworth… the Swedes think that feels far too abstract.

Then to the millionth question. Where do our country’s horniest people live – in other words, where in Sweden is the most masturbated?
In 2023, the Gothenburgers were at the top – but this year it’s different buns and the horny throne has been grabbed by another city from Pilsen.

As many as 45 percent in the Stockholm area masturbate once a week or more often, compared to 42 percent in Gothenburg, which has thus decreased by five percentage points since last year. Malmö also ends up in third place this year with 37 percent who satisfy themselves every week.
