Henrik Lundqvist’s strong reaction – after the giant rage in the live broadcast that the entire NHL is talking about: “I’m at a loss for words”

The coach of the Carolina Hurricanes absolutely raged on live television.
Then Henrik Lundqvist stepped in.
– He is more than pissed off, says “Henke” to TNT.

Henrik Lundqvist is one of the greatest Swedish hockey players of all time. The former goalie is one of the best ever, and was recently inducted into the “Hockey Hall of Fame” in Toronto.

Lundqvist’s new gig

Lundqvist played 15 seasons in the NHL and did all of them with the New York Rangers, before he was forced to retire due to a heart defect in 2021. In the Rangers, “Henke” has become a great icon and is held in high esteem in the club to this day. After his hockey career, Lundqvist has, among other things, moved on to become a studio expert in the USA.

Last night, the 41-year-old sat in the American channel TNT’s studio in the Edmonton Oilers-Carolina Hurricanes broadcast. The Oilers, who started the NHL season very weak, have turned the tables and switched up. They won the night of Thursday Swedish time with 6-1 against the Hurricanes, but it could probably have been more.

Rampant on live TV

The Carolina coach got it Rod Brind’Amour to become absolutely furious. In the booth, in front of his players, Brind’Amour saw the team on live television.
– This is brutal. We don’t play like we said we would. I do not understand why. We’re about to get beat 15-0 right now, I’ve never seen the team play like this. I’m at a loss for words to be completely honest, says the head coach in the broadcast.

That made Henrik Lundqvist react, and gave his opinion in the TNT studio.
– He is more than pissed off, he passed that stage early this evening. He had had enough of what he had seen of his players, quite simply. They try, but they don’t play very smart, says Henke.
