The last preliminary group day of the Men’s Ice Hockey World Championships is in full swing. It started with Germany’s victory over France and Slovakia’s victory over Norway.

On the other hand, with a win, Latvia can move up to group three, i.e. pass Canada or the Czech Republic. It can also happen that Canada, the Czech Republic and Latvia are all on 14 points. In that case, Canada would be second in the group with points from mutual matches.
