Geert Wilders: Tear up the country’s climate laws

When Gert Wilders formed the PPV party, there was a great focus on criticism of Islam. Now the message has been toned down.

Climate policy is instead in focus. Geert Wilders went to the polls promising to dismantle the Netherlands’ climate laws. Which means that Dutch people are attracted to vote for the extreme right.

Concerns about climate change

The country is affected by climate change. While public opinion is divided, this worries many voters, according to statistics from the Dutch Statistics Agency (CBS).

– I am very worried about the climate agenda from PPV as it wants to shred all climate policy, says Suzanne Kröger, Member of Parliament (MP-S).
