FSR 20 is fully supported on Xbox

AMD has announced that FSR 2.0 is ‘fully supported’ on Xbox, making it easier for game developers with Xbox developer kits.

It was recently revealed that AMD will make a detailed statement about FSR 2.0 technology at the Game Developers Conference (GDC). Now, however, in a blog post on AMD’s community website, he both detailed this technology and announced that the technology will also be supported on XBox.

FSR 2.0 is fully supported on Xbox

Last week, it was announced by Arkane Studios and Bethesda that DEATHLOOP is the first game planned to receive FSR 2.0. Announcing that the next game that will support FidelityFX Super Resolution 2.0 is Forspoken by Luminous Productions, AMD announced that this technology will be released in October 2022 and will be included in the game.

At one point in the video we watched, it was said that both PC and PlayStation 5 were used to capture images, although it was not fully explained. We are not sure if we can deduce that PS5 is also supported from here. Because we do not know which platform is used in the FSR 2.0 supported images. However, only XBox is mentioned on the site.

FidelityFX Super Resolution 2.0 is designed to increase frame rates in supported games; however, it’s fair to say that since FSR 2.0 is an advanced temporal amplification solution, it will demand more graphics cards than a spatial amplification solution like FSR 1.0.
