Francophone book meetings in Kigali Mohammed Mbougar Sarr and Wilfried

Mohammed Mbougar Sarr, Senegalese author, Goncourt Prize 2021 for “ The most secret memory of men » and Wilfried N’Sondé born in Brazzaville, multi-award winning author notably for his historical novel « One ocean, two seas, three continents,” but also musician and singer, are among the 15 authors invited from all over the continent for the 2nd edition of the International Francophone Book Meetings organized by the OIF and coordinated by the French Institute.

Round tables, writing workshops, interventions in the school environment punctuated these four days of literary meetings in Kigali. The place of the book on the African continent, the encouragement to read for young people, transmission through literature… these are all themes that were debated in Kigali before a passionate assembly.
