FNM, supply of two hydrogen trains from Alstom for 27.5 million euros

(Finance) – FNMa company listed on Euronext Milan and active in integrated mobility in Lombardy, and Alstom Ferroviaria, controlled by the French giant Alstomthey signed a second application contract for the supply of two hydrogen trains – in addition to the first six already contracted and ordered – for an amount of 27.5 million of Euro.

The two trains, whose delivery is provided before the end of 2026are part of the already known purchase program of the 14 hydrogen trains that will replace the diesel convoys currently operating on the Brescia-Iseo-Edolo route as part of the H2iseO projectaimed at the development of a Hydrogen Valley in Valcamonica, starting from the use of hydrogen in local public transport.

Therefore, FNM will finance with its own resources a total of 8 trains for a total investment of 98.3 million euros. The remaining 6 trains can be financed with additional public resources, or alternatively with FNM’s own funds.
