A victim died at a level crossing in the rural area of Woudenberg. The accident at Laagerfseweg, near the tunnel under the A12, happened just after 7:30 am. The Central Netherlands Police confirms the accident and makes no further statements about the circumstances. The NS has announced that no trains will run between Utrecht Vaartsche Rijn and Veenendaal for the time being.
