Blizzard has started a cooperation for Diablo 4. However, this one is of a very special kind. Han Kjøbenhaven, a fashion brand from Denmark, is now producing a new range of clothing for the hack and slash, that’s so wacky you’ve seen it must.
What kind of cooperation is this? Fashion Week took place in Milan, where many fashion brands revealed their latest collections. Among the participants was the Danish fashion label Han Kjøbenhaven, which surprisingly announced a cooperation with the hack & slay game Diablo 4.
However, no beta codes were awarded, but abstract clothing items were presented that were heavily inspired by motifs from the Diablo IV game world Sanctuary.
No hoodies or t-shirts, just feathers and leather
Han Kjøbenhaven’s “Chthonic Penumbra” collection contained many abstract and above all original garments. The designs are handmade and consist of faux fur, vegan leather, feathers and grey-black tones, with soft accents of white, mother-of-pearl and chrome.
This collection aims to represent “hell as a place of beauty”. Here are some examples:
The Diablo 4 collection is set to make its debut in Fall/Winter 2023, while you can already purchase it in Summer 2023 and in different sizes.
A special kind of cooperation: Many developers often cooperate with hardware manufacturers or other studios. Content comes onto the market that is intended to attract new players and fans. Fortnite is a prime example here, as Epic Games has already collaborated with Marvel, DC and even games like God of War. Destiny 2 followed suit in 2022.
However, the cooperation with the fashion label from Denmark seems far removed from the actual target group. It is not yet known how expensive these items of clothing will be. However, it is clear that it should certainly not appeal to every player’s taste. The fashion is probably far too abstract, complex and striking for that.
