Families celebrate New Years Eve in Simcoe

Families had a few options to celebrate New Year’s Eve in Simcoe on Saturday night.

Talbot Gardens offered a free public skate starting at 6 pm, while in an upstairs hall children could decorate party hats, were given balloon art creations, and could have their faces painted. A balloon drop was scheduled to take place at 8 pm

Other people chose to take a stroll through Wellington Park to get a glimpse of the illuminated displays and thousands of lights of the Simcoe Panorama. The annual festive lighting display can be seen one more time on Sunday, January 1, 2023 beginning at 6 pm
