Bilthoven – A 21-year-old from Amsterdam who, as a fake bank employee, has defrauded and robbed a large number of elderly people, has been sentenced to 200 hours of community service. The court finds it proven that she and others stole a total of almost 40,000 euros from 13 elderly people by stealing their pin code and debit card. She is also guilty of computer trespass on 15 elderly people, with which personal data of the victims were obtained. In addition to community service, the woman was also sentenced to 74 days in prison, of which 50 days were suspended. Because she spent 24 days in pre-trial detention, she only has to serve the remaining 50 days if she commits another offense within two years.
