Is a poster created by artificial intelligence the true crime in True Detective season 4?
In the scene in which Officer Navarro (Kali Reis) takes on the shady Chuck Mosley (Edward Fletcher), two posters can be seen on the wall in the background look extremely fake. The analysis of many fans: These must be fake posters that were created with the help of artificial intelligence.

There is talk of a tour, but there is no information about the tour dates and locations. True Detective maker Issa López reacts to the AI allegations without giving a clear answer
Starting with Issa López, the creative mind behind the new episodes, the metal poster became consciously chosen. She explains on Twitter that the poster is intended to give us a better feel for the remote town of Ennis and its residents:

Whether the poster was actually created by an AI, does not address López. In another tweet, however, she reveals that a lot of thought apparently went into the strange creation:

At least one could argue that the poster fits into the series in that it only shows the setting more sinister and lost lets work. Many things in Ennis give the impression that something strange is going on in this place. A poster that distorts reality certainly fits the bill. However, this would still not explain the necessity of using AI, if it did take place.
When and where will True Detective season 4, episode 3 be released?
The third episode of the fourth season of True Detective will be released in Germany on January 29, 2024 on Sky and the associated streaming service WOW. After that, three more episodes await us before the season is over again.
