The condemnation was voted through on Thursday with 433 votes to 123 – and 28 abstentions.

And the Council (the member states) must now address that, urged French EU Member of Parliament Gwendoline Delbos-Corfield, who led the work on the resolution, after a debate on the issue on Wednesday.
The EU Parliament is now calling on the EU Commission to act, mainly by withholding money for Hungary.
