Adeoye and Maureen Adedeji of Brantford welcomed 2023 with the arrival on Sunday of their son.
Ellis, the couple’s first child, was born at 5:02 am at Brantford General Hospital. He weighed 4.1 kilograms and was delivered by cesarean section.
He is the first baby of 2023 born at BGH.
The family is doing fine.
“We’re overjoyed,” Adeoye said.
“We’ve been trying for seven years and now we finally have a child.”
