Nina Dobrev35, is an actor who many recognize from the television series The Vampire Diaries.

Since the series had its last season in 2015, Nina Dobrev has appeared in quite a few films, but also acquired a professional skateboarder as a boyfriend and now also tried riding motocross.

The latter did not turn out quite as Nina Dobrev imagined, but ended up in a hospital with several injuries, something she chose to break the silence about on Instagram.

Who is Nina Dobrev?

Nina Dobrev has a long career behind her. During her participation in The Vampire Diaries, she quickly became a favorite on the television screen.

She has won several American awards for her performance in the role of Elena Gilbert in the series, including a People’s Choice Award for Best On-Camera Personal Chemistry and a Teen Choice Award for Best Female Breakthrough.

Despite the enormous success of her career, she was not as lucky when she tried motocross for the first time. The adventure ended in a hospital.

After ending up in safe hands at the hospital, Dobrev chose to share the incident with her followers on Instagram. With the text “How it started vs how it ended” she posted a before and an after picture from the day:

She also shared how she felt after the accident later in an Instagram story, which The evening paper reported on:

“I’m ok but have a long recovery process ahead of me,” she wrote and continued:

“I think it’s safe to say that my first time on a motocross bike will also be my last lol”.
