Joe Biden has said several times that he intends to run for the next presidential election, but has never made a public announcement. That will change next week, the Washington Post reports, citing several people who have been briefed on the plans.
According to the sources, that announcement will come in the form of a video next Tuesday, on the four-year anniversary of the launch of his first presidential campaign.
Can face Trump
If he runs for office, he is expected to face the greatest opposition from Republicans. Either from Donald Trump, who has already announced that he is running for office, or from Ron DeSantis, who is expected to do the same.
