The start of the Paris Games is getting closer. As the Olympic flame begins its journey from Greece, fans of the French delegation are already preparing their outfits to support their athletes. Decathlon, official partner of the 2024 Olympic Games, decided to give them a helping hand and designed the locker room for the perfect supporters. The source of inspiration? The 80s, which infuse all the creations in the collection French Olympic Team.
Tracksuits worthy of a vintage IAM music video “it dances MIA”an American university teddy adorned with the Olympic flame, a navy blue polo shirt, a tricolor jersey, pairs of socks, caps… In all, 13 pieces for men and women, available from XS to 2XL to shop at from 9 euros in Decathlon stores.
Showcasing new sports
Decathlon has also decided to celebrate the sports which are making their debut in the Olympic and Paralympic Games during Paris 2024. The disciplines concerned: surfing, climbing, skateboarding and breaking. This line includes the cool kid’s essentials, namely bucket hats, a fleece, long shorts, hoodies, a multi-pocket sleeveless jacket, crop tops, fanny packs… The 23 items of clothing are colored black, white or pastel and meet an eco-responsible approach. Made from recycled polyester and cotton, the clothes are designed to last and are all printed with the words “Paris 2024”.
As a partner of the Olympic Games, Decathlon has also designed official outfits. The sports equipment manufacturer will outfit the 45,000 volunteers for the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Bright blue silhouettes that majestically highlight one of the classics of the tricolor wardrobe, the sailor top.
