Recent studies have shown that people who drink coffee regularly live longer than other people. HIGHER EFFECTS OF SUGAR COFFEE

Scientists followed 171,000 middle-aged participants between 2009 and 2018 to see how likely they were to die over a nine-year period. Those who drank 2 cups of coffee with a teaspoon of sugar a day had a 29 to 31 percent lower risk of dying. Black coffee drinkers, on the other hand, have a 16 to 21 percent lower risk of dying.

From Southern Medical University in China, Dr. Dan Liu said: “Our study found that adults who drank moderately sugar-sweetened coffee every day were approximately 30 percent less likely to die from any cause, compared to those who did not drink coffee.”

Regular drinkers are less at risk of developing cancer or heart disease, the researchers said. It found that instant, ground, and caffeine-free versions were linked to a lower risk of death.
