Complaining helped – WoW is finally nerfing the hardest dungeon

World of Warcraft Dragonflight’s most difficult dungeon is being drastically nerfed. Finally you have a better chance in Murozond’s Rise.

The third season of Dragonflight is already well underway in World of Warcraft, but one dungeon still bothers most heroes: Murozond’s Rise. Not only is the dungeon confusing and many fights merciless, but there are also a lot of mini-bosses with devastating abilities. This makes the dungeon a torture, whether during Tyrannical or Reinforced weeks.

Now Blizzard has listened to the complaints and brought some big nerfs.

The essentials in brief:

  • The particularly difficult parts of Murozond’s elevation are now easier.
  • The mini-bosses have less health and longer cooldowns.
  • Chronolord Deios deals significantly less damage.
  • WoW: Patch 10.2.5 – Release trailer for the seeds of renewal

What has been changed? There are a number of changes, but they’re mostly focused on the beginning area and the various bosses. The nerfs in detail are:

  • Valow, Timesworn Guardian now has 17% less health.
  • Lerai, Timesworn Maid now has 17% less health.
  • Ancient Radiance is now only cast once every 15 seconds (was twice).
  • Spurlok, Timesworn Guardian now has 17% less health.
  • Binding Grasp now only casts once every 23 seconds (was once every 19 seconds).
  • Infinite Rift Mage
  • Eternal Burn now has a 16 second cooldown (was 7 seconds).
  • Tyr
  • Radiant Barrier now absorbs 15% less damage.
  • Time-lost battlefield
  • The boss now moves 50% slower during Blade Storm (was 30% slower).
  • Battle Senses and Battle Urge deal 20% less damage.
  • Chronolord Deios
  • Temporal Breath deals 16.7% less direct damage and 28.5% less damage over time.
  • Chronoburn deals 15% less damage.
  • Eternal Blast deals 10% less damage.
  • What do the nerfs bring? Taken as a whole, the nerfs should ensure that the timer for Murozond’s elevation is significantly more relaxed. The weakening of the three mini-bosses in particular should provide a lot of relief. The adjustments to Deios and the Time-Lost Battlefield will ultimately ensure fewer deaths and therefore better chances of success.

Whether the nerfs will be enough to make the key more popular remains to be seen. But if you haven’t completed a stone to +20 yet, your chances of doing so are unlikely to get any better.

Incidentally, the changes come at the same time as major buffs for some classes – which simplifies everything again.
