The COC Central Netherlands is not pleased with statements that former RIVM director Roel Coutinho made in Nieuwsuur on Tuesday. In the news program Coutinho wondered aloud whether the Pride should still be organized at the end of this month now that the monkey pox virus is mainly spreading among men who have sex with men. “I am sick of it,” said COC Central Netherlands chairman Laura van Nieuwenhuijze.
