The price of coffee drops by around SEK 10 per kilo in most large retail chains. This applies to most major coffee brands.
– It is the regular prices that are reduced. We can expect the extra prices to come down now, says Ulf Mazur, CEO and founder of the independent site Matpriskollen.
According to Mazur, coffee prices are adjusted only five times a year, so the lower prices will last for a couple of months. However, there is nothing to indicate clear price reductions for other food items in the near future.
