The stars at the Castle are in full swing on SVT. Since 2005, the program has attracted an audience of millions, and over the years Swedish celebrities such as Sven-Bertil Taube, Britt Ekland, Peter Stormare, Jonas Gardell, Robert Gustafsson, Marie Göranzon, Barbro Lill-Babs Svensson, Carolina Gynning and Carola Häggkvist seen in the program.
In the eighteenth season, which is now being broadcast, we see the star chef Marcus Samuelssonthe presenter Mark Levengoodthe artist Sanna Nielsenthe skier and Olympic medalist Pernilla Wiberg and then the artist Caroline of Ugglas.
The first episode with Marcus Samuelsson in the center attracted over 1.1 million viewers according to MMS, which measures television viewing in Sweden. In the second episode, the focus is on Caroline af Ugglas, and she opens up about everything from how she took drugs and was caught by the police – something that ended with nine days in custody – to how she met her husband Heinz Liljedahl.

Heinz has played in bands such as Ratata, Lustan’s lackeys and Heinz & Young. Heinz was also the one who produced Caroline’s first album “Ida Blue” which was released in 1997.
When they first met, Heinz was married, and he also had “a child on his arm”. Something that discouraged Caroline, as she did not want to meet a busy man.
Then the months passed and finally it was Caroline and Heinz. She was then 24 years old. Today they are married and the relationship has lasted for over 26 years. Together they have two children – Otis and Eddie Lee. Heinz has the daughter Olivia from his previous marriage.

But long before Caroline met Heinz, she had another guy in the works. After dropping out of school, Caroline started working with her grandmother. Caroline’s grandmother worked at the royal castle where she worked on taking care of the crystal chandeliers that had to be polished and cared for.

– We had keys to Stockholm’s castle. For me, who is a bit of a picky eater, the castle is the best. Do you understand how much I could just go and feel, says Caroline in Stjärnorna paslotlett.

Earlier in the program, Caroline told that she painted graffiti on a house in Djursholm. Nothing like that happened at the castle. However, on the other hand…
– I made children at the castle. No, but I had a boyfriend there, so we did things like that… I mean people do the 1000 meter club and all that. I’m in all the clubs because it’s kind of naughty that way. And then I had the castle…And we fucked in the castle. It’s aspinish. Fuck. Fuck, says Caroline and laughs.
Mark Levengood then asks if Caroline’s boyfriend at the time was connected to the royal house in any way.
– Not at all. He was a street boy, says Caroline.
