Burglary at an exchange office in Stockholm

Two people have been arrested on suspicion of grand theft in central Stockholm, the police say.

According to information given to both TV4 Nyheterna and Aftonbladet, the suspected perpetrators have made off with millions in a burglary at an exchange office.

The police are tight-lipped and do not want to comment on the information, neither the amount nor the location of the theft. But at the scene, police officers have been seen investigating a switch office.

– We cannot go into any details, but it is not a violent crime, said police spokesperson Mathias Rutegård earlier in the evening.
