In the new Utrecht district of Merwede, 250,000 Dom bricks will be used. In total, the companies Bokkenmakers and New Horizon make one million circular bricks from rubble and grit from the Dom Tower, which is currently being restored. The idea is to use this to prevent demolition waste and the waste of useful building materials. Dom Stones will also be used in other construction projects.
