Breaking news: Israeli Defense Minister Gallant announced that the Israeli army entered the center of Gaza city.

Gallant made evaluations about the Israeli army’s attacks on the Gaza Strip at a press conference in Tel Aviv. Gallant said that Israeli forces attacked the “targets” of Hamas’s military wing, Izzeddin al-Qassam Brigades, in Gaza city in a coordinated manner from air, land and sea, and stated that they tightened the siege in Gaza city.

Gallant claimed that Israeli forces were advancing towards the “heart” of Gaza city from the north and south and were trying to enter residential areas. Referring to the calls for a humanitarian pause in the attacks on Gaza, the Israeli Defense Minister repeated his statement that this would not be possible without the release of the captives in Gaza.

“WE DO NOT WANT WAR WITH HIZBULLAH” MESSAGE

The Israeli Minister also evaluated the tension on the Lebanese border.

Gallant said they have no intention of going to war with Hezbollah.

JET STATEMENT FROM THE USA: WE DO NOT SUPPORT

US State Department Deputy Spokesperson Vedant Patel answered journalists’ questions at the press conference. Patel answered a question regarding Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s statements that “they will take responsibility for the security of Gaza after the war.”

“We do not support Israel occupying Gaza again.” Patel said that US Secretary of State Antony Blinken clearly expressed this to his interlocutors during his visit to Israel.

On the other hand, Patel stated that it was not possible to return to the “status quo of October 6” and argued that Israel should be safe in the region and Gaza should not be a base for “terrorist attacks”.
