The product range, which was announced to the whole world with the introduction made minutes ago, is preparing to bring pure electric power to the internal combustion 5 Series family for the first time. The 5 Series family, developed by the brand on the CLAR architecture, promises a much wider living space in the interior in parallel with its increasing dimensions. The maximum speed limits of the versions vary between 193 km/h and 230 km/h, respectively.

As well as the performance of the i5, its range capabilities will undoubtedly be one of the most decisive factors. A battery pack with a capacity of 81.2 kWh is waiting for users as standard in all versions. With the battery pack supported by the heat pump, it will be possible to see a range value of up to 582 kilometers in the single electric motor version. One of the important values affecting the range is the efficiency of the new design. In the high-performance combination, this figure goes up to 516 kilometers at the best rate. The battery pack developed by BMW with a fast charging support that will meet the expectations such as 205 kW can be increased from 10 percent to 80 percent with a 30-minute charge.
