Baby sucked up by tornado – found in fallen tree

Four-month-old baby Lord was sucked up by a tornado in the US state of Tennessee last week, reports say CNN.
The family initially thought he was dead but the baby miraculously survived and was found in a fallen tree.
– As if an angel had shown him the way, says mother Sydney Moore.

Sydney Moore, mother of four-month-old Lord, was at home with the family in the trailer in Clarksville, Tennessee when a tornado swept across the US state.

The family’s other son, one-year-old Princeton, was saved from being sucked out of the caravan by the mother. However, little Lord remained in his high chair, which was sucked out of the caravan. The caravan was completely destroyed and Sydney Moore was sure that the son had died.

– I was pretty sure that he was dead and that we wouldn’t find him, she says to CNN.

Found in a tree

After the family managed to get out of the caravan, they started looking for their son. After a while they found him. Lord then sat calmly in his high chair, which had landed in a tree.

– As if an angel had shown him the way, says the mother.

The home was completely destroyed

In addition to the caravan and all belongings being completely destroyed, two of the family’s three cats also died.

The mother’s sister has now started a fundraising page to help the family and so far they have received over half a million kroner.

A total of six people have died as a result of last week’s tornado in Tennessee.
