At the end of last year, the city council of Baarn approved the large-scale renovation of Theater De Speeldoos. The council decided to make almost 10 million euros available. After the renovation, the theater must also accommodate the library. This puts an end to a long discussion about the ‘culture house’ and the library will disappear from the center for good. It is the intention that the organizations will organize joint activities in De Kroon culture house.
