Baarn wants to arm boas and takes the minister to

Green boas are extraordinary investigative officers who are particularly charged with supervision and enforcement in rural areas. The term green boa is not formally and legally defined, but refers to the green clothing they wear and to the fact that they are active in rural areas and enforce nature legislation. Forest rangers also fall under this term.
Green boas have to deal with increasing aggression and violence from, among others, motocross riders, poachers and criminals. In principle, they can be equipped with all available means of violence: handcuffs, a short baton, pepper spray, an extendable baton, a service dog and a firearm. But the minister must give permission for this on a case-by-case basis.
