The African Cup of Nations also takes place in Paris with the Akwaba Village which means “Welcome”. A village located within the Ivory Coast embassy in the 16th arrondissement of Paris which opens its doors to football lovers, but not only. Throughout the CAN, a fan zone is set up to watch the matches and meeting and debate areas are organized throughout the duration of the competition.
