(Finance) – Guest of Sky, the President of Autostrade per l’Italia, Elisabetta Oliveri commented the new one road safety campaign launched by ASPI with the State Policecurated by the director of the successful series “Mare Fuori” Carmine Elia, interpreted by the actor Giacomo Giorgio.
“There security is at the heart of our transformation plan and this campaign is one of the many initiatives put in place with the Traffic Police”. Like that of the Safety Point: “We have inaugurated the first Safety Point in the Casilina Est Service Area, on the A1 and 3 more will soon arrive – announced Oliveri- The Safety Points are corners located within the rest areas, where travelers can get in touch directly with the Traffic Police, receiving assistance or in turn communicating the elements of risk they have observed along the network”.
Oliveri then faced the theme of construction sites for network modernization:” last year on the Aspi network we had an average of 330 active construction sites per day, with 8,000 people at work to modernize the motorway assets: the approach to be followed in the vicinity of construction sites must always be of the utmost caution. It is important to remember that there are people who work and commit themselves on the road every day, so it is essential to respect construction site signs and speed limits.Our campaign aims to make travelers aware of compliance with the rules and maximum attention when driving.Our commitment is to work so that our network is increasingly secure, thanks also to the support of new technologies”.
