Women’s sprint on Saturday at 4 p.m. Biathlon World Cup ends on Sunday, men’s joint start at 1:45 p.m. and women’s joint start at 4:05 p.m. The races are shown on channels.

The sovereign star of the men’s biathlon season John Thingnes Bö was again in a class of its own. The Norwegian monster won the last pursuit race of the season held in Holmenkollen with a margin of more than 32 seconds.

Bö has been so dominant this season that he has been able to vent at the shooting range at times. In the last vertical position of the pursuit race, you could see strong self-confidence from him again.

After Bö had shot down four boards, he paused, turned to face the audience and gestured for silence. After that, he must have shot down the last board.

– Well! Now is the time to revive, narrator Johannes Oikarinen stated.

Bö has already secured the overall victory in the World Cup. He won five championships and no less than seven medals at the World Championships held in February.

– Never seen anything like that before. In the middle of the series, he gives the audience a signal to be quiet. He is at the level to dare to do such a thing. It would have been embarrassing to miss, Urheilu’s expert Kaisa Mäkäräinen threw.

Bö shot one penalty in the race and finished 32.7 seconds ahead of France Quentin Fillon-Maillet. Norwegian Sturla Holm Lägreid was third.

Tero Seppälä made a good climb. He went from 22nd place in the sprint race to 10th place. The Finn shot two penalties in the race, one of which came from the last shooting position. In the final battle, Seppälä narrowly beat the Czech Republic to Michal Krcmarbut beat Italy by Tommaso Giacomelli.

The ranking is Seppälä’s best of the season in individual World Cup competitions. The Finn was tenth in the joint start of the World Championships in Oberhof.

On Thursday, the young man who reached the 12th place in the speed race Otto Invenius was now 22nd burdened by four penalties. Olli Hiidensalo fired two misses and was 30s. Jaakko Ranta was 54th in the final results with four fines.
