Anders Finnstedt, 71, cuts the grass at Mittuniversitet in Östersund with horses

For almost fifteen years, Anders Finnstedt has taken his horses and his “lawn mower” to the campus in Östersund to cut grass.

– I am passionate about working with horses, he says.

But it is not just an exciting and silent lookout for the passers-by. Anders also says that his mowing method does the lawn good compared to a “normal” lawnmower.

Link up with the artillery

Jerker Häggström, CEO of the company that takes care of the properties on Campus, says that for around 15 years they let Anders Finnstedt cut the grass in the area to create a pleasant atmosphere. A large part is about connecting to the old artillery and the horses that were on the site at the time.
