In Ireland, citizens’ priorities are beginning to change. The country is seriously lacking in housing. This is not new, but the situation has only gotten worse and with the arrival of asylum seekers, anti-immigrant movements, fueled by this real estate shortage, are emerging. However, this anger – an atypical fact in Europe – is not exploited, in a populist manner, by politicians, including for the European elections.
