According to The Straits Times, in the video published on the social media platform Facebook, the moments when an elephant crushed its owner to death in the Nakhon Sawan province in northern Thailand were captured.
Nattaphak Piluek, who recorded the video, told the local press that the elephant was used by its owner to beg for money and food.

Piluek stated that at the time of the incident, the elephant suddenly became anxious and attacked its owner. Another witness, Tippawan Kawiwon, also claimed that the elephant attacked its owner because it felt its baby was being taken away from it.
Mahaphot Rescue and Disaster Relief Association President Kamrai Mokkasak said in his statement on the issue that the elephant pressed on its owner’s chest, causing his lungs to collapse.
