Crime series based on Amazon’s best-selling novels comes with star power
Deadline reports that Nicole Kidman has been cast in the title role and Jamie Lee Curtis as Sister Dorothy for the upcoming Kay Scarpetta series. As Screenwriter and Showrunner Liz Sarnoff (Barry) has been signed for the crime adaptation.
Even if the deals are not final, the Kay Scarpetta series for Amazon Prime should be the same 2 seasons with 8 episodes each receive.
In the 26-volume novel series investigates the eponymous forensic scientist in various criminal cases. In the process, Kay Scarpetta has progressed from being chief medical examiner to private forensic consultant.
