David Batra is a Swedish comedian who has been active in many different programs such as TV4’s “Talang”, SVT’s “Världens sämsta inder” and also had a program in “Sommar i P1”. As one of Sweden’s most popular comedians, he has also been appointed as this year’s Christmas host in 2023.

In an earlier interview with The Express reveals David’s wife Anna Kinberg Batra that the husband is just under 180 centimeters tall. She says that at the beginning of their relationship she thought it was embarrassing that she was taller than him, as she is 182 centimeters tall, but that now they both don’t care anymore.

David Batra began training as an economist after high school, but soon after that he made his debut as a comedian. Programs such as “Räkfrossa” and “Kvarteret Skatan” make him a household name in Sweden. Since then, he has appeared as an actor in “Beck”, a comedian in “Parliament” and has written books about comedy and food.

In 2022, Batra was current with the SVT program “Hard weather” where the comedian visited places with extreme weather around the world. In an interview with The evening paper he talks about his curiosity about the climate issue.
– You are easily discouraged when you see how slowly the climate work is going, but at the same time you know that people have lived with extreme weather for generations. There, a curiosity is awakened in me.

Batra has been married to the Moderates’ former party leader Anna Kinberg Batra since 2002. Together they have a child Elvira Batra who was born in 2005. The family lives in Nacka, Stockholm.

Many questions have been raised about David Batra’s political views, not least because his wife is a former party leader for the Moderates. In an interview In TV4 Nyhetsmorgon asks Jenny Stromstedt if the comedian votes for the Moderates.
– I have changed a little over the years, I have not always voted for the Moderates, Batra says.
When Anna Kinberg Batra is asked what her husband votes for by The Express she says it’s his secret.
