“We know Londoners love to take advantage of non-stop destinations, avoiding the hassle of major hubs. Now, you can start travel plans early or extend them later in the winter season to escape the cold.”

Air Transat began flying to Cancun weekly on Saturday the first week of November and will add another flight on Thursdays, beginning Dec. 21 until April 27.

It also began weekly service to Punta Cana on Sunday early in November and will double that to twice weekly, adding Friday, beginning Dec. 22 through to April 28.

“These highly sought-after sun destinations have always been popular among travelers from London, and we are excited to extend our winter season to meet the growing demand,” said Michèle Barre, Air Transat’s chief revenue officer.
